Frequently ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT PILATES CLASSES AND PRIVATE SESSIONS

Do I need to have previous Pilates experience or fitness experience?

No, Pilates is progressive and is for everybody whether you are new to working out and moving your body, are a weekend warrior, or a professional-level athlete. We will meet you where your body is when you arrive at the studio and choose the apparatus that will best suit your needs that day.

Private Sessions or Group Classes?

We strongly suggest your first four to eight Pilates sessions should be private one-on-one sessions to provide a strong foundation and optimal results. This will introduce you to the Pilates apparatus, allow the instructor to evaluate your strengths and weaknesses, and give you a chance to learn Pilates at your own pace. These sessions will familiarize you with the movement and language of Pilates.

How do I schedule my sessions?

All intro packages have a 35-day expiration date.

Please keep that in mind when purchasing multiple sessions.

To ensure that every client receives the best possible attention and support, we recommend spreading out sessions from our 4-pack bundle over a period of 4 weeks. Due to our limited availability and the variety of specialized services we offer, scheduling multiple sessions in a single week may not always be feasible. This approach also helps you maintain consistent progress in your fitness journey.

What should I wear to class?
We suggest you wear comfortable snug-fitting clothing, with minimal jewelry and your hair pulled up if you have long hair. We suggest that men wear compression shorts under their shorts. Shoes are not worn in Pilates and for hygiene and safety reasons you will be required to wear socks with grippers. Individual toe socks with grippers are recommended as they allow your toes to move freely.

How long are your sessions?
All sessions at Pilates Cure are 50 minutes. Please arrive on time for your session and due to limited space we ask that personal conversations take place outside of the studio

Do I need to bring anything?
All you need to bring is yourself and a pair of socks with grippers! Feel free to bring water for after your session.

What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy and ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel within that time frame.

What if I have injuries, can I still practice Pilates?
Yes! We suggest you take private lessons to learn how you can modify the exercises for your injury before taking group classes.
